The web video series #amBall documents encounters in which professional players and pioneers of women’s soccer talk about their personal experiences and how they deal with discrimination. In joint discussions, they reflect on what has changed in soccer over the generations and where there is still a need for further change in soccer and society as a whole.
The professional footballers featured in the web videos are Sara Doorsoun (Eintracht Frankfurt), Merle Frohms (VfL Wolfsburg), Marina Hegering (VfL Wolfsburg) and Lisa Baum (Hamburger SV). They will meet the pioneers Doreen Meier, Anne Trabant-Haarbach, Birte Weiß and Petra Landers.
